Join us as we explore a variety of public health topics and learn how public health is vital for not only our health and wellbeing, but also for our families, friends, and our communities. Hear from the Swampscott Health Department, other Public Health Departments, public health professionals, healthcare providers, and community members about how public health impacts us all here on the North Shore & beyond. Meet the Hosts

Neia Illingworth, RN, MSN, MPH is the Public Health Nurse & Public Health Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the Swampscott Health Department and has over a decade of experience in local public health. 

Jeffrey Vaughan, BS, RS, CHO is the Director of Public Health for the Swampscott Health Department, as well as the Burial Agent & the Manager of Solid Waste & Recycling for the Town of Swampscott and has over 30 years in municipal public health. 

Olivia Wilson is currently a Master of Public Health candidate at Boston University's School of Public Health and is completing her practicum at the Swampscott Health Department, focusing on the intersection of health communications & promotion and mental health & substance abuse.
